Great Customer Service and Insight 9/28/2009

I thought I was having a serious transmission problem. Cottman's checked with Volvo to see whether my computer had been updated by them recently. When they found out it hadn't, that had me go to Volvo first. The update and a minor repair cured my problems. They are my heros! Pros: Saved me hundreds by doing some research Cons: No cons at all more

Honest 4/7/2008

Great customer service. Brought my car in with leak. I was told what the problem was, exactly what they were going to do to fix it and the cost. I was very happy with what was done and with how quickly it was completed. Thank you Cottman Transmission. more

Superb experience 10/4/2007

Now having had to have both of my vehicles' transmissions rebuilt, I realize what a great resource the guys at Cottman are. Not only were they very upfront and honest about what was going on with my vehicle(s), they have very competitive pricing and a bulletproof warranty on their work. I would not trust anyone else to take care of my vehicle's transmission. Pros: Personal attention; warranty Cons: Your example - "Ambience" is funny! It's a TRANSMISSION shop! :-p more

Didn't even test ride 4/13/2006

Went in because my car's torque converter is not locking up. Brought in first thing in AM, didn't get a call till 5:30 pm. Never took the car on the road. All they did was plug in the diagnostic tool, saw no codes for the tranny, and assumed I didn't know what I was talking about. more
