Keen won my case, and I send all my friends to them! 11/5/2007

I had an immigration issue (well, my husband did) that involved a very old arrest. I went to my long-time family lawyer who is now a judge, and he referred me to Keen Law Offices and said they were the best for this work. Chris Keen was always honest with me, and told me that the case would be difficult, and explained the process to us. Over a few months, he won our case, and now my husband is a U.S. Citizen!!! I am forever grateful! If you have a tough immigration case, call Keen Law Offices!!! Pros: Professional, courteous, he was on our side from the start Cons: Not cheap but worth every penny!!!!! more

Mr. Keen- How exactly did you try to help?!! 2/25/2007

I wish he would have been up front with me rather than stringing me along for over a year. Unfortunatelly he was looking for a a lot of cash without exerting alot of effort, and he found that with with me and my husband. I hired Mr Keen because he advertised that he was experienced in criminal / immigration cases. My husbands case was far too complex and he should have been up front with me from the start, and let me know he was over his head.\r He never bothered to put my husbands case into his name. This made things very complicated for us and the prosecutor as well as the judge leveled false accusations at my husband when we were finally able to get my husband to court 2 attorneys later! Mr. Keen rarely showed for our scheduled office appointments,( I did not live in the country at the time so it would have been nice if he could have been more courteous, knowing that my visits were so infrequent!) when we did have a scheduled meeting he would send a collegue who knew NOTHING about the case and that collegue had the gall to charge for his time! Ninety-Five Percent of the ""case work"" he did do, was to read e-mails to which I would rarely, if ever get a response!! I was only able to get 2 itemized bills from him in the whole year + he ""worked"" for me. And that was after ALOT of nagging. His idea of helping my husband get into the country was to advise him to illegally sneak over the border. Dealing with him has been a very disappointing and financially draining experience. His receptionist ( too bad she 's not with him any more) was able to get me started with some immigration paper work. Too bad I was so naive I did not realize it was something I could do on my own without paying him an arm and a leg to get it started. I actually ended up finishing it on my own. So Mr. Keen How exacty did you try to help? He might be good with simple cases, but was not capable of handling the magnitude of of my husbands case. We were left spent in more ways than one. Pros: He had a nice office Cons: everything else more
