I don't know who the other reviews were talking about but my time at Cottage Lake Motors was very well spent! James and Peter were great to deal with and have done everything that they said they'd do and more. I purchased a 2005.5 Audi A4 Quattro for thousands of dollars less than another local car dealer was offering with more miles. These guys were very up front with all of my options and help me come to the right car to suit me needs. more

Found a car there with low miles at a very reasonable price. One of those 'too good to be true' deals; it was. Their ad clearly says, ""We do not offer Salvage or Rebuilt Title Cars at Cottage Lake Motors."" They sure offer cars with lemon/buyback titles though. No thanks! I'd stay away from them if possible. I, too, got the somewhat rude behavior through email instead of in person like the other reviewers since I live out of town. Pros: Good deals Cons: Deceptive ads more

In the ad for the car i was interested it said ""immaculate"" condition inside and out. I get to cottage lake motors and right off the bat on the front end there is a dent from looks to be like it was ran into a trailer hitch. The rims were scratched up on one side of the car as if ran into a curb several times. Pine needs all over the car. The man helping me asks me to start the car because last time the car was almost dead. After about an 1 1/2 hours i decided i didnt want to lose money with this vehicle but just for informational purposes asked how much he could give it to me for, and he replied with we can discuss the price next time i come in, and i brought up the damage and he had the nerve to say that the car price will go up to fix those problems...i started laughing inside thinking...i have to pay extra for them to fix the dent and scratches. Very comical. The guy clearly doesn't care if he sells cars or not his house is connected and seems like he just sells cars on the side. I just didnt feel comfortable around this guy. I didnt trust. But if you want to give it a go, go ahead but its definitely a waste of time and effort. Pros: Nice scerery, not pushy Cons: he didnt seem to care, ad has false advertisements more

I love the scenic location, varied Audi selection and.... well that is just about where it ends. Salesmen are extremely frustrating to deal with and one even lost his temper with me over the phone. Since when have professionals in any business been capable of staying in business without any professionalism whatsoever? What an emberassing way to treat a customer... wow.
