Cosmic Cavern

This is a wonderful cave. We drove down from Branson to see it, and we are certainly glad that we did. The cave is highly active, and the formations are just really beautiful. As with all caves that have had an audience, there are some damaged areas, but my time there was well-spent. After being in 200+ caves, its easy this is highly rated. The locals even recommend this as a must-see around Eureka Springs and Branson. You have got to photograph this cave, everything thats beautiful is so up close and personal. The bottomless lakes make it very unique. It wasnt too strenuous and was well over an hour with informative guides. We enjoyed the gemstone panning in front of their large log gift shop. This cave definitely lives up to the hype! I can see why it was aired on national TV! This cave is beautiful! The people there are very friendly and very knowledgeable about caves. The regular tour is a nice hour to hour and a half and was well worth the money spent to get in! This cave doesn't have too many stairs or ups and downs in it, just mainly at the entrance/exit. I do recommend that you leave your coat in the car because it is one of the warmest caves I've ever visited. The wild tour that they have is incredible! You get to spend another couple of hours in the ""off-trail"" part of the cave. The back part of the cave is even better than the part on the regular tour!! After reading various reviews of this cavern decided to check it out. The tour lasted close to 40 minutes not the 1 hour and 30 minutes they suggest. Information supplied by guide was bland and when a question was asked response was usually ""I don't know"". I would not recommend this place to anybody. Two tickets cost $25.
