The food is decent enough. But I have never seen such awful attitudes from the employees so openly directed at customers! My coworkers and I work nearby and have eaten here once...

not the usual tex-mex 10/22/2011

Love this place!!! I am bored with the usual tex-mex restaurants around the Atlanta area and was glad to see that Corralejo offered more than the average mexican restaurant. First of all, I have to say their drinks are AMAZING. Seriously. Very unique and creative specialty drinks, made out of fresh juices. The menu offers a wide variety of items. Although they do have the typical burrito/enchilada/taco combos (if that's what you want), their specialty dishes are delicious and actually better than the tex-mex fare they offer. We were very pleased with the dishes we've tried so far...the fried green tomatoes with jalapeno remoulade sauce, pan-seared salmon with lobster sauce, and tequila shrimp. The service is great, with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We will definitely be back! more

Thumbs up!! 10/10/2011

Because of my job ( I build bars and restaurant furniture) I get to visit and consequently eat at many restaurants and bars around town. some of them have great food, others have a great bar and some others have great service. But then there is those few that are able to pull it all together and give you a real dinning experience.The food is absolutely delicious and it is Real Mexican Food, I've tried different dishes and so far I have no complaints. The service is very good and aside from the occasional trainee I must say that everyone was very courteous and eager to attend me. And then there is the bar with it's collection of tequilas, mescal's and Sotol, which I have to say was a real treat and I was very happy to find a place that had them in their bar. As the name says it they do have a flair for exotic tequila fancied mixed drinks, and when I say exotic I mean they actually drop a poblano pepper in to the mix. Word of advise, unless you are an avid tequila drinker I suggest taking it real slow because although all of them are exquisite some of them carry a real punch. My personal favorite La Paloma. Over all is an very good place to come for lunch or dinner and last time I went there I learned they even have a live band on weekends. Definitely my kind of spot. more

Tequila? Mescal?! 10/10/2011

I had heard mixed reviews and opinions about this place and finally decided it was time to come check it out myself!! My mind was literally blown. My fiancee and I came to have a frozen margarita and we ended up making new friends and expanding our knowledge of Mexican spirits!! You think Mexican bars are all about frozen or on the rocks margaritas?! WRONG!!!! Corralejo provides you with top-of-the-line and great qualitiy tequilas and mescals made only by tequila artisans for a really affordable prize!!!! You think you are having the complete mexican experience with Patron and Jose Cuervo margaritas?!?! once again...WRONG!!! Alan, Miguel and Antonio have become Corralejo's most knowledgeable and experienced mixologists and can provide you with great suggestions depending on your taste of cocktails. They won't let you down! You've never had cocktails like these before! Made with only the freshest fruits and juices, the refreshing and modern taste will taunt your taste buds and leave you craving for the next cocktail in line at Corralejo Mexican Flair and Tequila Bar!!!! more

Mexican like you have never had!!!!! 10/10/2011

It looks like they have learned from their mistakes and completely turned things around!!! We came here when they had just opened and decided it was an OK place but just went back tonight after 3 months of not having done so and it is a completely different restaurant!! By far the best Mexican restaurant you'll ever eat at. Superb food! Excellent service! Beautiful presentation! Homemade recipe Margaritas! Delicious-Scrumptious-Words cannot describe how good their food is. Also unbelievable portion sizes. All meals served with small salad (nice touch, compared to other Mex restaurants) Fresh ingredients cooked just right. The kid (who doesn't care for Mex) could even order a wonderful vegetable Alfredo! How cool is that for a mexican menu! - to throw in some Fettuccine Alfredo on the menu. (All other items strictly Mexican however.) Make sure you try the pork dish with jalapeno remoulade sauce or the shrimp tequila. Cannot say enough good things about this little mexican restaurant treasure!! GO! You will be glad you did!! The three of us had dinner at Corralejo's tonight. It was simply awesome! We cant' wait to go back! Service & food was super great! Manager even came out & chatted with us; very warm & friendly place! (Ask for Alan to be your server; he's friendly, knowledgeable & great at offering suggestions.) The atmosphere could use a little help but it is something they are definitely working on! GO TO THE NEW AND IMPROVED CORRALEJO!! more

Amazing Place! 5/26/2011

This new restaurant is by far one of the best. I definitely recommend it to everyone, from families trying to find a place to eat to individuals trying to find a place to relax and have a drink. The food is simply delicious and the drinks are out of this world! more

Best Restaurant in Suwanee!!! 5/25/2011

I was expecting your typical Tex-Mex style food and was pleasantly surprised to find the menu to be quite different from my expectations. Although some of the menu choices are the stereotypical Mexican usual such as enchiladas, burritos and quesadillas, there was also a large selection of not-so-standard Mexican food. Perhaps this is the ""flair"" referred to in part of the name! The menu choices included salmon, lamb, mahi-mahi and baby back ribs. You have to go to this place, it is out of the ordinary! more

Best of All!!! 5/25/2011

MUST-TRY Restaurant! Is not a big restaurant but you can definitely get a new definition in Mexican gourmet food & drinks. [Which are delicious] For me cleanness is really important, and this place has it from the outside to the inside. Service was decent and the drinks are awesome! Food and drinks are served in a very nice presentation. The menu has the perfect selection of Mexican food and drinks. The prices are fair for what you get. I work for the restaurant industry, so I know what I'm talking about. My family order the Mahi-Mahi, Ceviche, Flautas Tapatias and the Mini-Chimichanga. All of those dishes were great, tasty and make us want just a little bit more. they also have different exotic drinks [Santa Ana Fruit Cart, Aztec Chocolate, Tierra y Libertad] drinks take a little bit of time to come out, but it's worth it. I saw everything almost made from scratch and FRESH. The bartender took a few minutes to explain what ingredients he used. We had a great time and definitely come back for more. Don't get used to the same Tiny, Boring, Mariachi-theme Mexican Restaurant. Try something different! more

Bad employee attitudes 5/12/2011

The food is decent enough. But I have never seen such awful attitudes from the employees so openly directed at customers! My coworkers and I work nearby and have eaten here once before, but one employee named Trisha ensured that we will not again. The owner needs to get his employee's attitudes under control because they are alienating their customers! He has a real problem on his hands. more

Stay Away! 5/5/2011

Food is eh - service is so unbelievably horrible! The hostess was confused at best. Our waiter was unorganized and dismissive. At the end of a very long meal we waited 20 minutes for our bill only to realize we were over billed. Our waiter went away for 10 minutes and came back with a big smile and said he had taken care of it - the amount was the same! I cannot imagine this establishment will remain open for long. more
