If the shady table sitting on the corner of J & 22nd watching the eclectic mix of downtowner's pass by isn't enough to make you love this oddly configured little hash-house, then try the food. That's what you came for, remember? Besides, the waitress is nice enough, and she's busy as heck. Even so, she brought hot coffee & the plates of food going by are enough to get your mouth eager for some down-home potatoes. They are piled high with just about every dish, including the veggie scrambles-INCLUDING the red-ripe tomatoes, fresh peppers, & even avocado. Oh Mama! Add to that the availability of every newspaper known to Sacto, & you may just stay...a week or two.
Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Uniqueness
Cons: Bathroom-small, Register location, Waiting area
