I used to go to the CornerStone Barbershop in Bangor Maine but they are not good. Most the time I wanted what is called a ""College Cut"" which is a spikey haircut on top and short in the back and lower sides. But out of 5 people who work there only one guy would get it right but he would insult me. He was make fun of my hairline or the fact that I've got some grey hair (which I don't mind, we all get old). Just that he didn't sound like he was joking so much as picking on me. Another guy named George kept asking me very personal questions while cutting my hair - like where I work or what I do and how much I earn, and he would rant about politics. I like it better when a barber sticks to normal conversation like the weather, sports, or events, or if it is politics that it's not over oppionated. Anyway, this George guy never cut my hair right at all and one day when he asked me what I study in College he insulted my degree choice and said that there is no future in it. By the way I study Anthropology & Psychology. Anyway, another time I got this religious fanatical young guy who instead of giving me a college cut he gave me a overly short cut and put this glue junk in my hair. One lady would leave cowlicks in my hair. I used to go home and then cut and trim my own hair to fix it. I did used to go other places but finding a good Barber or Salon in Maine is hard to do. I've heard a lot of people complain about CornerStone and when we drive by I notice they have less and less customers. Gee I wonder why???
Cons: weird attitudes and bad hair cuts, also a few would stair at you if they had nothing better to do making you nervious.
