the only way i would go to cello lessons 9/17/2005

my parents forced me to play the cello when i grew up. i would have much rather been riding wheelies around the street on my bike. but alas, i had no choice in the matter. anyhow, my cello teacher lived down the street from here and this was the only way i would agree to take those lessons. tons of chocolates, good ice cream, shakes, sundaes - the works. a real old fashioned institute. wish there were more places like this around more

Best Confectionary Ever 8/12/2005

You can't go to Highland Park without visiting this place at least once. Having been in the town since the 1920s, it is one of the coolest looking as well as best serving confectionaries ever. Inside, it's dark and cool with ceiling fans and shelf after shelf of sweets. The ice cream sodas, milkshakes, and cones are delicious. You definitely can't ask for anything better anywhere else. Althought the prices are more than average ($4.00 for a small milkshake), the quality is worth it. more
