Cornell University's Hospital for Animals is a good back-up practice for emergencies. They are also knowledgeable about exotics, horses, and farm animals (including cattle, sheep, goats, llamas, camels, and alpacas). However, be aware that for routine small animal care, your pet will be examined by a student veterinarian who will not have the skills of a seasoned, experienced veterinarian. On the other hand, the Microbiology Department and, in particular, Dr. Paul Bowser, is absolutely TOPS if you have any questions about fish pathology.
