I've been doing business with Corley for over three years. They are OK but don't seem to put much effort into customer relations. Lots of friendliness but not much action.
Recently my car developed serious engine problems. The only fix they suggested was a new engine. It took serious prompting to get them to even consider looking at fixing the engine rather than replacing. They promised me a price quote, and for a week every day they promised to have it to me by the end of the day. I had to call every day to get them to give me the quote. Their mechanic didn't want to fix the engine because he said he'd never done the job before. In the end, replacement was not that much more expensive than repair.
After spending a LOT at the service department when I picked up my car there were greasy rags in it and greasy finger prints all over the dash. They gave me no instructions on service for my new engine. It finally dawned on me that my new engine probably didn't need the next scheduled 75,000 check up so I stopped in asked how maintenance checkups were going to be handled. At this point I was informed nothing would change except I needed to have my oil changed at 500 miles. I was already over 500 miles. If you don't ask Corley's won't tell.
Perhaps they give better treatment to those who own more expensive Volvos.
