I received a 'groupon' certificate for my birthday, to have my car detailed by Corky's. This place was chosen SPECIFICALLY because it is a small, local business, and we always try to support local businesses.\r
I CANNOT EMPHASIZE ENOUGH how UNPROFESSIONAL this ""business"" is. My certificate was for a $230 service -- the ""Express Ultimate Detail Service."" My vehicle is a Honda Element. They don't even have carpeting -- easiest vehicle EVER to clean. \r

1. The first red flag was the fact that the actual shop, itself, is filthy and smells horrible. If you can't keep your business clean -- and your business is detailing -- there's a problem. \r
2. When I called to make an appointment for an upcoming weekend (they are open on weekends), the OWNER said, ""What's your deal with Saturdays?"" He told me weekends weren't good because the steam machine he RENTS is only available mon-fri, not to mention he told me there is an EXTRA $40 fee for this steam cleaner.\r
3. As soon as the OWNER looked inside my vehicle and saw some dog hairs that had collected in the corner of one of the back seats, he said ""Dog hair. That's an extra $95 fee."" I asked him why the extra charge and he told me he would have to blow compressed air to remove the hair. I told him this extra ""dog hair"" fee was not mentioned on his website, and that's not good business. He said, ""IF I PUT IT ON MY WEBSITE I WOULD LOSE BUSINESS."" I replied, ""So you're basically saying I don't matter?"" His response? ""You are only one out of 20 customers."" \r
