In my professional experience I find it is absolutely necessary to be cordial, pleasant, and accomodating\r when dealing with clients, customers, etc. \r \r Over the years since I have been dealing with Jamie at Corinthian she has served me perfectly in all areas. \r In fact, I have observed her going over and beyond her responsibilites. She is the person on the telephone with a high level of patience answering many questiions, scheduling and rearranging appts to fit mine and everyones needs. Jamie is consistent in her high work ethic and always the friendliest face I see smiling and welcoming as I enter. She keeps me coming back. more

I have been going to Corinthian for a few years now. I always have Linda cut and color my hair. She is a wonderful stylist and colorist. It is easy to communicate with her about the color I am looking for. I trust her judgement completely. Everyone in the salon is so courteous and friendly. It is a very relaxing atmosphere.\r Wouldn't go anywhere else:) more

I went to Corinthian for several months always happy with the color and cut UNTIL this past week. I just mentioned I was there the week earlier with another stylist from the shop for a haircut. The stylist who was coloring my hair, Linda got very upset I did not have my haircut with her. When I sat in her chair she said my hair was long--then when I explained I was there the week earlier for a haircut she said my hair was so short I probably air dry my hair!!! Needless to say, the hair appointment was extremely uncomfortable. If you go there for coloring, go to Sandy the owner. She is vey nice and confident in her work. more

my husband and i have recently moved to newtown square and my biggest fear was leaving my hair dresser but FEAR NO MORE i found Corinthian I love this place the staff was so helpful and friendly (not a stiff do your hair and makeup before you go in type of place) calmed my nerves and to top it all of my hair looks great i like it even better then it was!!!!! great job girls more

I am used to paying alot to get my hair done. However this salon is overpriced and does not provide the niceties, atmosphere or serivces that would justify the cost. In fact the salon is kind of dirty looking inside. I noticed they also did not have clean brushes (maybe it was an off day ..i dont know) The staff is very friendly. Like I said tho, if your used to paying top dollar and getting the entire experience ex. offered a drink when you come in, handed some magazines, scalp rub during your shampoo, nice atmosphere, hot towel, hand rub... gosh any ONE of these things would have semi-justified the price... None of these do yet you will be charged like it did. You are better off going into the city or West Chester. - the staff was friendly tho more

I was recently at my son's football game & I spotted a woman with the most amazing hair color. I have been to many of the city's top salon's trying to achieve this rich copper hair color, but I never seem to get it. She told me that she had gone to ""Corinthian Salon & Spa"" in Newtown Square, Pa. I tried it and they do a great job! I love the Aveda hair color she used. My hair feels great and it is so shiny! From the moment I walked in to Corinthian I felt welcomed, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I was surprised for being in a shopping center just how beautiful this salon and spa is. more

So I work for a company that cares for adults with physical and mental disabilities. I made an appt for one of my consumers to get a haircut and massage this past Saturday, something I thought she would really enjoy. She works all week like the rest of us a deserves a little me time. Well her staff were greeted by an awful person, they would not give her a massage and had the audacity to ask if we knew that a massage cost 85$. They probably didn’t want to “catch it”. I guess if you are mentally retarded that means you don’t have money. Complete ignorance. \r They should be ashamed of themselves. Cons: rude receptionist more

I was looking for a salon in the Newtown Square area where I could get my hair done for my wedding. I tried out Corinthian Salon by getting a hair cut there. They were very nice and I asked about what things they offered for weddings. They gave me the information and were not pushy about it, which I liked. \r I booked with them to do my hair and makeup and hair for my three bridesmaids. I went for a hair test a couple weeks before the wedding and my stylist was great. I took her pictures and described what I wanted and she did it perfectly. When we arrived before the wedding, it was just us because some of the other stylists were on site at another wedding. It was very nice. Everyone got what they wanted. I was very pleased with my hair. The last wedding I'd been in, I had not liked what the Michigan stylist had done and when I went to take it out I had to wash my hair over and over again to get all the product out. At my wedding, my hair, which was pulled back at the top and down in the back, stayed in place, other than a little blowing during pictures of my long hair. After the wedding, one washing got all the product out. \r I was a little worried about my makeup, because I don't wear a lot of makeup and I didn't want to look heavily made up. The woman worked with me to find the right amount and checked with me on numerous occasions to see if I thought I the application should be heavier or if that was enough. The Corinthian Salon gave me a hair rescue. I had gone to a high end salon in Glen Mills, PA and my hair was a complete disgrace. I went into Corinthian for help on the Saturday before Easter. The owner worked with my hair and got the horrible red copper highlights covered and my hair looking great again, considering what it looked like when I arrived. I had no appointment but the employees and owner offered their kindness and expertise to calm me and rescue my hair debacle.I couldn't ask for anything more considering the state I was in. I highly recommend this spa for its expertise, empathy and professional courtesy. It is the very BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more
