Big fancy letters over your front door do not a castle make. It's pretty scary territory in the area over there near Cordisco's Corner Store..but.if you can get through the clouds of smoke that you find from the underage gangs of kids on skateboards that hang around the place then you will probably enjoy your jaunt through this "special" depository of cans and bottles-which btw has a going rate of 5 and a half cents1!. John Cordisco is a good guy, and runs a personalized business...we need more of these little mom and pop stores in the area more

A Great Place to pick up those Odds and Ends 3/16/2006

If your looking for a cool ice pop or soda on a hot summers day or a warm cup of java or hot chocolate in winter time, Cordisco's is the place to stop and cool down or warm up. This is one of the few of the last Neighborhood Stores, our heritage, left in this day and age. I hope everyone will support it enough so it will stay open and not be swallowed up by local and national food chains. more
