Dr Langford is a crazy lunatic. I don't know if he was born this way or if he just has PTSD from being in Vietnam. The walls are very thin so when he is yelling at the employees in the back or the clients in the next room you hear EVERYTHING and get to know the real him. He has a foul mouth and I actually heard him tell another client with my own ears that ""Because they didn't choose the right treatment for their dog that now their dog was going to die and to get the f*** out of his office and never come back"". If you ask him to not swear in front of your wife and/or child he will tell you that he fought in Vietnam for the right to say whatever the f*** he want's. If you don't believe me just go in and say exactly that. Also if you plan on boarding your pet there, DON'T! If you ask to see where you'r pet is they probably will tell you that client's aren't allowed back there or they will show you the cages in the front of the building. There is another room in the back that is used to house the animals as well as backrooms, laundry rooms, and bathrooms that they lock the overflow animals in. I will never again give them my business. They have also been sued for malpractice. Do your research people! more

My husband and I have used the professional services of Dr. Richard Langford for over 10 years and he has treated 5 of our dogs (all German Shepherds). He and his staff obviously care for animals and provide excellent care of their patients. From my very first visit to Coral Reef, I was impressed by the relaxed, caring atmosphere. There have always been resident birds and cats, who are treated with tolerance, patience and love. I would highly recommend Dr. Langford to any pet-owner. Not only does he care for animals, but he is obviously experienced, dedicated and highly skilled. more

My wife and I are very grateful to have a vet like Dr langford taking care of our beloved Nicky. I know nicky can be very hyperactive, but you are very patient and took very good care of her. Dr. Langford knows what he does and shows that he is interested in his work. Like the other comments, in my opinion dr langford is one of the best vet I've known. their staff is extremely friendly and helpful. more

I have never met such a dedicated veterinarian with incredible patience. Dr. Langford dedicates to his work passionately. He recommends the most important things for your pet . My dog was very sick and is because of him that our dog is still with us. Dr langford certainly is the best vet out there. more

I have a dog named Fred and everyone in my family loves him very much. It is very important to us his health, therefore rely on someone is very difficult for us, but this is not a problem anymore because since we met Dr. langford and staff, we dont need to worry. They are loving and keep my fred in a good condition. All of them are very generous and nice. more

Doctor langford has been treating my cat since he was born and I am very thankful for that because my cat (ramona) is in good hands. Not only he treats her but also shows that he cares about her. Dr. Langford took care of my 19 year old diabetic cat for 15 years of her life. He and all his staff were wonderful to my pet and me. They loved her and treated her like a queen which she was by the way :).Dr. Langford and his wife took my cat home with them every night when I had to travel for my job whcij was a lot. What a blessing to know she was in such good hands. He loves animals, is smart and is all about the animals. He's not in to the money like some vets (and dentists too) are. He has a great staff and the man knows his stuff. I have another cat he takes care of and I will always be a customer of Coral Reef. more

We have 3 dogs and 4 cats. One of our dogs ( Charlie ) recently cut his foot wide open. He received the finest care from Dr. Langford and his staff. Pros: Caring dedicated staff ! more

Dr. Langford has always taken great care of my dog, Arnie. He is smart, and knows what he is doing. After seven years of seeing this doc, from a broken leg to pancreatitis, I highly recommend him as a great vet. Pros: awesome more

We really like Dr. Langford as our Vet. We have been taking our two oldest Cats to Coral Reef for 16 years. Our cats are still alive thanks to his honesty and frankness. more

Dr Langford is so pleasant. Both my cats go to him and have been for 4 years. He remembers them every time (he knew what their names were even when I stopped by for an emergency and did not have an appt). He is so gentle and sweet to them. He explains exactly what is wrong not in medical terms, but in terms someone with no medical training can understand (and by no means like you are dumb). He tells you exactly what is wrong the first time, no having to come back for numerous "" follow up"" appts. The office calls you the day after an impt event has taken place in you pet's life to make sure they are adjusting well and there are no side effects. Everyone in his office is so helpful, letting you in before they open to drop off your pet in case you have somewhere to be and staying late if you can't get there by the time they close. I love going to this vet and would recommend him to everyone. Pros: VERY helpful and flexible.. Cons: none! more

I stopped by to purchase heartworm pills for my sister's dogs and was shockingly cursed and yelled at by Dr. Langford. Initially he came to the waiting room after his clerk went to the back twice. When he came out he looked at me and angrily yelled ""I don't have time for this!"" I explained that my sister wanted me to buy the heartworm pills for her 2 dogs, which are treated at this hospital. Dr Langford continued yelling and cursing at me while I called my sister on my cell phone to obtain additional information. Dr. Langford kept on yelling and cursing at me stating ""Why in the hell do you take your G.D. dog to a G.D. van in a G.D. parking lot for shots"" , referring to having them vaccinated by visiting Vets at Petco. He further yelled stating that the G.D. dogs weren't vaccinated and that they only take your money and say they were and that the tests were done but they aren't. As I am currently undergoing testing for cancer I was extremely upset by his unprofessional and crude display of anger toward me for no reason. I simply wanted to purchase the medication for my sister's dogs and did not deserve to be humiliated in front of his staff and the waiting room. No one should be yelled and cursed at by anyone let alone a person in his position. Arrangements will be made to transfer the dogs records to another, more professional veterinarian. I would definately NOT reccommend this vet!! Cons: Highly volatile Vet who yells and curses at clients more
