I hate having to go to Kinkos for copies - I couldn't imagine a more soul sucking place - but usually the machines at some of these other, smaller copy places are crap and when you're rushing to make some last minute deadline (which is always the case for me when I'm at the copy place) you need to go with a sure thing. I finally found a place that gets the job done. It's the Copy Central on Mission at Chavez. This place is run by a great Indian lady named Mrs. Roy. She's full of pith and homey wisdom and won't take crap from customers who are wigging out about the project they put off to the last minute and needs to be in the mail in 5 minutes. But if you're nice to her, she'll give you all the help you need to make great copies. She also offers volume discounts which are way cheaper than Kinkos. She'll set you up on the computers here to do Photoshop work and she'll even help you with the program and with the printing if you're having trouble.
