Copper Lounge

The Copper Lounge is a great place to go, the atmosphere is great. The Copper Lounge is nearby the University of New Mexico. The bar has great drink specials every night and also the bar has some awesome deals for food (75cent taco's and 4.50 1 topping personal pizzas) as far as beers go the place a real good selection of 20 quality beers on tap! The day time is also a great time to head on over there, they have different daily lunch specials and soups and I cant forget to mention the best cakes in town, it seems that the owner Georgia has the ability to make some the best homemade cakes that customers there absolutely rave over. If i were to recommend a great place to hang out it would definately be the Copper Lounge, it had everything, a great atmosphere, awesome food and a great vibe. The Copper Lounge is a dark, nicely kept bar that sees all sorts of people. The waitresses always seem drunk or high on something, which, if you are too, can be relaxing and even amusing. The food is usually very good, though its best to avoid any chicken that is not grilled. For the best drinks you will want to go in on a night that Nicole is working the bar, John knows what he is doing as well. There is a pretty decent pool table and sports on the TV's, the owner; a greek woman named Georgia, looks like she just fell out of a time machine from the 50's. This place gets pretty busy during the school year.
