Coppen's United House of Karate is great for both Kids and Adults. Rates are very reasonable and no pressure to sign up for anything, as a matter of fact they want you to try it for a week to see if you are willing to apply yourself as well as challenge your interself to become more respectful to others! This Dojo offers good clean family fun that offers ways to interact with each other, learn self control and to improve in one?s self esteem! Bruce Coppen & Nancy run a well round Dojo. Both Bruce, Paul and the other assistant instructors have shown both a great understanding to giving instructions to both kids and adults with encouragement and praise not criticism, as well as fully explaining how and the whys to each move or stance. This is a Dojo that I am very happy about finding for both myself and my 7 year old grandson! Thanks, Bruce, Paul and everyone there, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! I'll be honest....My dad owns this dojo. I think that I know best that this is the most quality karate class that you could ever attend. I haven't been in attendance in a while but I can tell you that my dad has run this class out of passion for the majority of my life. When you go here you're not going to find a dojo run on commercialism but a class that has an ethic, and a devotion to discipline. You are going to meet a man that is over the hill but is wise beyond his age and has brought his passion to his community. Pros: You just received a thumbs up from the biggest critic Bruce Coppen has! Cons: There are none unless you're afraid of hard work or want something for nothing. more
