Cooper State Bank

I banked with CSBank for over two years, with a business account, then opened a personal account, because of their promised promotions. The banker never explained to me that I had to do a number of debit card transactions for me to qualify for the bonus. I go into CSBank, a few months later, and ask why I never got the credit, and they inform me that I did do the cash deposit amount but I didn't qualify for the bonus. I told them I was never informed, so the teller went and talked to the manager, who refused to even talk to me, and refused to work with me. This all left a rotten taste in my mouth so I closed my business account on the spot. I went to another branch where I was told the vindictive manager at Clintonville notated my account so no one else would work with me on this bonus I felt I got bait and switched on. Nevermind that my balance is quite high, and I never overdrafted this account, and the fact that they routinely work with people on this issue daily, and credit accounts for the same issue by waiving this requirement (I know several people that they have worked with). It's funny to watch a local bank with under 10 branches treat a long term customer with such disdain. I will be going to my Clintonville branch within the next few days to close out my personal account, in cash, and will transfer those funds to a bank that actually values my business. I think this bank varies from branch to branch, and the Clintonville branch is not as good as the Sawmill branch or other branches, but once I found out that the manager at Clintonville notated my account so I wouldn't get help at other branches I knew it was time to ditch this bank for another. more

I went to the atm at a CS on High Street a few days ago to check my balance... It read that I had 50 and some change in my account. I was surprised, but I thought maybe someone had put money in my account for some reason. I took out 20 dollars. The next day I was negative 20 bucks and one of the tellers told me to come in and deposit 20. So I came in two days later, deposited 55.00, just to find out that they had charged me an NSF fee of 30 bucks! They refused to help me or even listen to what I had to say. They acted like I was lying. This is not the first time that I have had trouble with this terrible bank! I HAD TO FILE TWO COMPLAINTS ABOUT UNAUTHORIZED ACTIVITY ON MY ACCOUNT. And the workers are not helpful, one of the ladies is very rude! Do not trust CS bank!? Cons: SUSPICIOUS UNAUTHORIZED ACTIVITY,BROKEN ATM, RUDE STAFF, NSF more
