I had an amazing experience working with cooper properties to find my new home. The staff was curtious and profesional. I love my new apartment which is walking distance to everything i need. I would refer my friends and family to Cooper Properties. :) more

Rat Infested Cooper Properties 3/30/2010

Cooper Properties rents Rat Infested Apartments near Las Olas Boulevard. I could not sleep at night hearing the huge rats move around the ceiling and in three months had close encounters with 2 HUGE rats inside the apartment. Cooper Properties Landlord will not allow me to get out of me lease. Was not understanding and fair at all. more

Cooper Properties are RAT INFESTED 3/29/2010

Cooper Properties Landlord Gerard E. Cooper completely unreasonable. Won't allow me to get out of me lease because of the Rat Problem even the exterminator went more than 10 times and the HUGE Rats will not go away. Impossible to live in peace can not sleep with rats moving aroudn making noises. Disgusting living in Cooper Properties apartments is a Health Hazard. Pros: Near Las Olas Boulevard Cons: Huge Ugly Rats inside Apartment more

Last week I went to Cooper Properties in Fort Lauderdale, FL to find a One Bedroom Apartment. I looked at no less than 10 apartments and 9 out of the 10 were dumps!! more

Cooper ~ Best Slum Lord in Lauderdale 7/21/2005

Ok.. the Slum Lord part of the title is a joke. That's howhe refers to himself. He does have a few ummm 'lower rent' properties inland, but that's not all he's about at all. Cooper also has some fairly nice yet affordable apartment buildings, at least one of which is on the barrier island just a block off the ocean in the heart of Lauderdale Beach proper. His apartments in that building start at about $650 per month. No, it is not a dive. So, what you need to know about dealing with Cooper is that he isn't just a money hound. He deals straight up and expects you too. Be honest and upfront with him and he'll deal with you above board. PROS: Honest, straight shooter CONS: Only if you screw him around.. heh more
