I've been to Cool Blue for a couple of times now and I love it/them! Helena, the hairdresser that cuts and styles my hair, is so nice and sweet! She is an amazing hairdresser. I went there for my sisters wedding party, and they managed everything very well! I've also got my makeup done there, and those ladies are very nice, they make you feel comfortable! Allen has also done my hair and he is great! I recommend this salon to everyone! Just make an appointment ahead of time! more

VERY DECEIVING. The salon overbooks like you would not believe!!!! I made an appt. with a specific hairdresser but then was sent off with two other hairdressers because the one that I had requested to be with (8 weeks prior to my appointment) did not even have the time to do it due to bridal parties and family members that, I suppose to them, are considered more important and are a higher priority...I can understand the importance of the bridal party but waiting three hours after an appointment time to even be set into rollers is just absolutely ridiculous!!!! The makeup lady (Farrah) is THEE ABSOLUTE rudest and most unprofessional girl I have ever encountered at a salon. She also was attending the wedding in which everyone else there was going to and had her family members in line to get their make-up done and acted like it was the biggest catastrophe in her world to have to be doing someone else's makeup other than her family and friends...she must have completely forgotten the importance of treating PAYING customers with respect. She also told me it would be extra $ just to apply false eyelashes even though I personally brought them in myself AND on their website it states that only eye makeup (opposed to having the full face done) is only $25 well low and behold just like the rest of the reviews on here it was actually $40, personally not my biggest concern, but since I was already weary about the place after seeing the reviews I feel that it needs to be noted for future customers (not that I would ever recommend anyone to go whatsoever). They appear to do great work in the end, but overall the experience is hell and definitely not worth being hours late and behind schedule when I know plenty of other salons with great talent, amazing work ethic and honest prices from the moment you walk in the door. I do not recommend Cool Blue for much of anything unless you are absolutely desperate and have no other options and also have a completely free schedule...because you WILL NOT get out on time...they just really aren't all that I had hoped for and thought they would be. Unless your friends or family - stay away...they will not take their time to even recognize you or your needs and have completely lost sense as to how important their paying customers actually are. more

this place is horrible. they use the same lipgloss wand on everyone. i was horrified. they are also rude. i called and made an appt for my makeup they said it'd be $60 with lashes.(this was not the case) i go and wait an hour foolishly while her and 1 other they do another party.who was only scheduled for hair. but as they came in, changed their minds. including a load of kids under 10. i mean i had an appt and stressed the importance of it being on time.and then she goes on a lunch break. i waited over and hr and 1/2 accumulative. i was in a rut, cause i wasn't sure where i could get another appt. somewhere near, needless to say. i withdrew from getting my full face and wanted just my eyes. because they used the same lipgloss n wand on everyone.my girl and i couldn't believeit. nasty. then, she says ""im outta eyelashes. can u wait a half hour?"" i was very calm and collected. fuming on the inside, i just said ""no, my wedding, i'm already late for."" she walked me to the desk and said ""$70 for her"" unbelievable. a full face with lashes was 60. but just eyes and no lashes 70? they are scammers! the other make up girl kept interrupting when i was getting done to have her do eyelashes for her clients because she didn't know how. So, when it came to me, i didn't get em because they were upsaling them to people, whereas it was on my appt card. I ended up redoing my eyes. she did them like mimi on the drew carey show. it was a devasting disaster. she also told me that it was my fault that she messed up on the lashes, because i didn't remind her at the beginning? so they charged me for them and wrote them on my card for nothing? horrible communications, unsanitary, wish i would of read the reviews first and looked around before settling here.
