I signed up for an annual service contract with Cool Advice which was to include a 15% Discount on ""parts."" Recently I was charged $138.00 (including my 15% discount) for a Dual Start capacitor that can be purchased at a retail level supplier for $26.00. I can understand a mark-up of 100-200% but approximately 500%? The 15% Discount is deceptive advertising in my opinion and completely unethical. When I questioned the owner (Marv) about it he became VERY rude and hung up the telephone on me. Do not use this contractor unless you do your research first.
Pros: Pleasant to deal with (at First)
Cons: Misleading Sales and Repair Practices. 500% parts mark-ups
