An interesting course designed by a PGA star, this course is a great play--and it's public.
Wet GreenCook's Creek is set in the rolling terrain and floodplains of the Scioto River just south of town. OSU and PGA golfer John Cook designed this impressive course appropriately dubbed "water world." The front nine was built on the flood plain. Six of the nine holes have water and four of the holes have water on both sides of the fairway. The Last Nine The back nine are a little more elevated, overlooking the Scioto River. Water is still a factor on the backside, with four of the nine holes having significant hazards. Space-age Golf Transport A cart is a must, and they're state of the art, complete with global positioning equipment. This gives you not only to-the-inch yardage, but keeps you on the cart path with warnings for golfers who stray.
