I have no problem with Cookies By Design, I due however have a problem with the owner of the Urbana, IL store. The owner had a promotion (like many businesses) through the local tv station website - which offered $50 worth of coupons for $20. Great Deal - first time I purchased off of the website - Very excited my nephews love their cookies. There was 5 - $10 coupons. The coupon says ""No Cash Value. Does not include delivery. Can use more than 1 certificate on each purchase of $30 or more."" I had a family reunion in May - I ordered $50 worth of cookies - thinking that I could use all of them at one time. I ordered over $30 and the coupon does say I could use more than one and, it doesn't say limit # coupons. I handed her all five coupons - she took two and handed me the other three back. Okay, I let that slide and paid the remaining $ and left. The coupons expire 9/30/2010 - so I called to inquire about using the rest of the coupons. ""You can only use one coupon per $30 order and that's it."" We asked if we could purchase one cookie for less than $10 and use one coupon and they told us NO. I called the tv station, and to no big suprise they are no longer doing business with them, because they are not honoring their agreement. The tv station is making it good with me, and now I'm out to tell my story. No wonder this store rates a ""D"" on the Better Business Bureau's website. Will put this story wherever I can until there are new owners or the Champaign/Urbana store is closed for good.
