Food from the Iberian Peninsula is the specialty of the house and they do not disappoint. The large farm tables in the main dining room are warm and inviting int the winter. During more balmy weather, sit outside and enjoy the back deck. The featured wines by the glass are usually a good bet and the bread is worth breaking your allegiance to Atkins. more

Owner Message
  • Carlo and Michelle chef-owners of Convivium Osteria, opened in November 2000.
Revered as one of the most romantic and authentic restaurants in New York, our cuisine and wine reflect a love for western Italian/Mediterranean tradition. We are conveniently located about 5 minutes away from the brand new Barclays Center. We combine the old world culinary and aesthetic traditions of Italy, Spain and Portugal. The ingredients of our food are very important to us from the local organic meat, to the homemade pasta we make daily, the house baked desserts made daily as well. Dishes from Italy, Spain and Portugal interweave seamlessly to convey a love for the region. Our three dining rooms transport you from a farmhouse in Sardegna, to a Botega in Barcelona, to a wine cellar in Oporto. Our extensive wine-list features wine from the regions of Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Come join us.
