Avoid at all Cost! 7/21/2008

Based on the Post Dispatch article dated 7/21/08. This company should be shut down. It is obvious it is operating illegally. They are an unscrupulous business operating with the protection of the St. Louis Police force. Better watch yourselves with this one. The company has obviously received special status from the St. Louis Police chief's office. Don't get caught up with these crooks - avoid at all cost. Why else would it be providing free/discounted cars to the Police Chief' Mokwa's daughter. The company is overcharging for it's services and there is no protection orrecourse for the unsuspecting citizen. . This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are rude. They really don't care about anybody. My insureance company paid them $730.00 for towing and keeping my car for 10 days. I then paid $116 to tow it 6 miles. They actually wanted me to bring $800.00 CASH to get my car. Thats asking for trouble on North 10th ST. They don't take credit card because ""it cost us too much"" I was told(unprofessional). They towed my car to my house and the driver complained about not getting paid overtime. I had to go back and get my key and they acted as thought I had asked for thier first born. Good luck talking to someone on the phone. They don't know how too. They answer unprofessional. They put you on hold without saying ""please hold."" My insurance company had trouble with them too. They said they were put on hold for 15 minutes trying to pay the bill. When they are on the phone they talk to other people in the office instead of focusing on the call. I called and was rudely told they were closed on Martin Luther King Day as though I should have known that. MOST people work on that day. When I asked what I needed to do to get my car the guy sarcastically told me to ""come pay YOUR fines."" SO RUDE! I was involved with an accident that didn't include any fines. My insureance was taking care of 100% of the bill. One time I went in and stood behind the glass with the little bitty talk hole in it. 5-6 guys stood in a circle talking to each other without even turning any attention towards me for several minutes. And when someone came over they acted like they didn't want to even talk. If you hate your job get a new one. Don't make your customers(especially the non trouble makers) miserable and hate to go there. The only reason this place is still in business is purely location. In the future I will aviod this place, if possible. I wish there was a star option of less than 1. I was polite at every contact, they werent,I gave them plenty of chances. Pros: They are fast. Cons: They have no customer service skills. more
