So many times I have had bad luck getting help in other coin shops. Not here! They are always able to find the coin I am looking for. Extra help that they do not have to give, but...

The Best Place 12/23/2011

Continental Coin in my opinion is the best place to go and see how much your jewelry is worth. The prices are outstanding and you get more for what's its worth. Thank you guys!!!! more

Stay away 8/11/2011

I brought in my late mother's diamond eternity band, which I already had had appraised for $5000/5 karats. This jerk here told me it was 1 karat and worth $175! I couldn't believe it! I so wanted to insult him for insulting me but just walked out. What a rip off. I'm just grateful I know my stuff and this isn't the first place I went to. My mother's ring is exquisite and in no way is worth $175!! He would have been laughing at me if I had believed him if I had sold him this ring for such a pittance. The consumer really has to be savvy. I'm only giving it the one star because there is no other rating available. more

Stay away if you dont want to be taken advantage of... 1/17/2011

Used Car Dealership Of Coin Stores... Every time I call them to get pricing on the phone, the guys there are short and rude. It gets better. The pricing is the worst when it comes to both selling and buying. I'm not going to advertise where I go exclusively, but their on the Westside and in this industry, the nicer the storefront, the nicer the experience tends to be from my experience. Good Luck. I've purchased over 80k of metals so I've done this a bit. more

After recieving a low bid, the salesman said, when asked, that they only pay $10.00 per gram for 14K gold and said they couldn't pay immediatly but in a month and if gold went down, they would lower the already low bid. When I added up the gram weight of all the items, they offered far less than $10.00 per gram. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Pros: May buy your jewelry Cons: LoBall Bids more

Avoid this place 6/25/2008

I really needed money to pay my mortage, so stupidly I took my grandmother's engagement ring (2 carats) from the early 1900s in a platinum setting, and other pieces of really nice find jewelry I collected over the years. They asked me what money I needed. I told them the amount (less than $2,000) and that's what they gave me. They saw a fool a mile away, and took advantage of me. I admit I was desperate and they knew it from the look on my face. I later went into the store to see what they priced one of the rings. It was a ruby surrounded by diamonds. I was shocked that they called it ""an estate piece"" when it was purchased new about two years before. more

The manager of this place would not service me due to my religion and he wasted my time and played me and my mother for fools. He wouldn't give us prices for the jewelry, he would leave the store and we would wait for him to come back because he was the only one who had the prices, and after almost 2 hours we finally decided to purchase two rings. As the sales woman was filling out the receipt he YELLED at my mother and I from across the store embarrassing us to death, and stated that the rings were not for sale. It was evident from the moment we walked in that he was prejudice because he gave us dirty looks and wouldn't give us the time of day what-so-ever. Never give your money to people like this! There is only one manager who works there all the time so you can't escape him! more
