Competing Nail Salons Bad Rumors Not True !!! 8/29/2011

I had written a good review for Contempo Nails last week and immediately the next day I received an anonymous email claiming that they used to be a former employee of Contempo Nails. They had nothing but bad things to say about Contempo Nails. I was quite surprised so being a CIS expert I decided to do some investigating on where this email originated from. Interestingly enough, I traced the origin of the email to a local nail salon located on the same block on Robertson Blvd. I also traced it to who's computer she used to write it and how many emails was sent out.\r \r You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure what's going on here. COMPETITION !!!!\r \r Competing nail salons are trying to discourage customers like myself from going to Contempo Nails. I feel this is a terrible way to do business. An HONEST business is the best business. Trying to spread bad rumors about your competitor because you cannot compete the HONEST way is wrong. \r \r I wanted to write this review to inform more

The Truth Exposed 8/24/2011

I had an interesting experience at Contempo Nails which prompt me to write this review. To start off I would like to give good compliments to Diane and a few of the staff their for doing a great job not only on the quality of the service but excellent customer service as well.\r \r I recently started hearing some bad rumors about how Diane does not pay her workers for the free manicures she gives out to customers. My first thought was that's not good. To make a long story short I later confirmed it with a few Contempo Nails workers that THERE ALL LIES. The rumors came from competitors trying to bring down Diane and Contempo Nails. \r \r Contempo Nails has been around for 25 years and the most successful nail salon in Beverly Hills so obviously many people wants to take out those on top. I see now that it's a cut throat business and Diane has to take many attacks coming from everywhere. Good Place Good Vibe 8/3/2011

I won a mani silent auction to help women's cancer research donated by Contempo Nails and hosted by Shape Up For A Cure. I like this place very much. It's a lovely nail salon with a wonderful good vibe.\r I understand that Diane donated 100 manicures to Shape Up For A Cure and think that's terrific. After reading a few reviews online and it did came obvious to me that some of the negative reviews online for Contempo Nails was written by the workers or former workers. \r Contempo Nails is a good place with good customer service, quality and many selections. Donating to organizations to help cure cancer is also plus for me. Highly Recommend Contempo Nails. more

Great Customer Service 3/23/2011

My family and I was visiting Beverly Hills on our vacation and we stopped at Contempo Nails to get my nails done. I have to say that this place has incredibly good service. Diane who was in charge greeted us with warmest welcome. She was so nice that she even bought my kids frozen yogurt. The quality of the polish and customer service was excellent and we were even offered free manicures before going back to Canada. It's too bad that I don't live in Beverly Hills but if I did I would be doing my nails at this place every week. We bought some gift certificates for our friends in Los Angeles to help support Japan rebuild from the recent earthquake. I thought that I had to at least write a good review for them. more

A+++ Nail Salon 12/31/2010

this is by far the best nail salon i'v been to. I was there during the Christmas holiday and it was very busy. I was seated very quickly and they did a great job. The price was affordably good. $20 for color gel !!! They had many brand and color selections to choose from. Everyone was so nice to me. Diane shows that she really values her customers. She gave me a free coupon for my next visit. I give Contempo Nails an A+++ for everything. Oh yes, best of all Diane sponsors many Charity events for the less fortunates so I know that part of my money is going to a good cause. more

Contempo Nails Charity for Haiti Earthquake 1/22/2010

I recently went to Contempo Nails to purchase some gift certificates for my employees and Diane who I believe is the owner told me that she donates 40% of all gift certificates purchase to the “Save The Children” charity. I thought that it’s so wonderful that part of my purchase goes to helping children in Haiti. There was a big sign there that said that but I didn’t notice when I walked in. Diane also went ahead and gave me a free manicure gift card for my wife and I. Thank you so much Diane I think you are doing a wonderful thing my wife and I will be back for more. more

Julie & Kim are sisters who work at Contempo nails. Julie is fabulous with manicures and Kim is the best with Pedicures. I always get complemented on my nails when they are done by the two of them. more
