Really, if those two things can happen for you on most anything, you're happy, right? The location is a bit hard to find if you don't know the area well, but, that;s what MapQuest, Yahoo or GoogleMaps is for, right?
It was a simple kitchen chair with arm rests who's seat was used by a cat as a scratching post or maybe it was a puppy teething and chewing on the exposed corners of the seat.
I was able to choose from a well varied choice of cloth coverings, and there were other options to. If there weren't enough ""in house"" choices, they did have a few huge catalogs, and the salesman knew his inventory well, even if the shop seemed disheveled somewhat, and was quite small for the amount of pieces they had lined up to work on...though, seeing that they were able to rotate those pieces out and get new ones in was a good sign, right?
My piece was promised to be done in two days and it came out beautiful. And I saw many wonderful items that were ready to be picked up both times I was there. They even let me come in after hours to drop it off. I'm sure that they were well booked for Christmas time so I was surprised my piece could be done so quickly.
The chair cost $5 at a garage sale, the new materials & labor cost $35. What a steal for such a lovely chair for the head of the house!
(My butt is very happy...you can look if you really wish to!!!) =]p
