I graduated from the University of Illinois' Jane Addams College of Social Work (and completed my psychiatric social work internship on the psychiatric unit at Elmhurst Hospital). Currently, I am the emergency room psychiatric social worker for a prominent hospital in Chicago's northwest suburbs.
Additionally, I am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. My training includes both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse counseling. I have completed internships at both Evanston Hospital and Breaking Free, respectively.
Also, I am a skilled cancer social worker, and have helped many patients, and their loved ones, through the various stages of the cancer experience.
