The SceneWhile this building has been operating as a hotel since 1889, it has been in existence since 1716. Throughout the property's 300-year history, it has served as a private residence and hosted the likes of Henry David Thoreau and B.F. Skinner. You will be hard-pressed to find a more genuine colonial experience.
