Good option for boaters visiting Newport 8/15/2005

If you're planning to visit Newport on your boat, instead of dealing with the extremely crowded and expensive facilities in Newport Harbor, try the Conanicut Marina here in Jamestown. It's quieter, simpler and offers ferry service across the bay to Newport. Also wi-fi. And after a day in Newport, you'll enjoy the laid back atmosphere on the Jamestown waterfront. Try the Purple Cow ice cream at Spinnakers. more
