Brought in a macbook with a CD stuck in the drive. Two days later I got the call that it was done. (A day earlier than promised - that's nice)
They handed me the macbook and and the CD and charged me for an hour's worth of labor. When I asked if the drive was safe to use, they had no idea. They called the repair guy and he didn't know. They offered to put a blank CD in to try it, and if it did get stuck they'd be happy to charge me to put in a new drive.
Wouldn't the logical step for the repair guy be to test the drive to see if it's faulty or if it was just a problem with a bad disc?
(UPDATE:) Drive does work, probably a problem with library CD with extra stuff stuck on top of it. It was nice to get a follow up call after my original 1-star post here.
