During the first day of the class, I identified organizational skills as an area in need of improvement. Previously, I'd tried to correct this by reading several books and buying numerous day planners, but those never worked for long. During the next class, I uncovered the source of my belief in being disorganized--growing up with a mother who was always disorganized. (It's quite common for one's subconscious mind to identify with a parent's characteristics). The class helped me to identify that my self-defeating belief was, ""My mom was always disorganized. Therefore, I am, too."" On examination, I realized that it was just an old belief, and I could change it. In subsequent personal skills training classes, I let go of the old negative belief and learned to adopt a new positive belief. I now believe I am ""An Organized and Skilled Sales Rep with Easy Recall of Product Information."" The Personal Skills Training Program allowed me to remove the obstacles to the sales process.
