On-the-spot price estimating, quick service 5/31/2012

My plumbing work costed exactly what Competitive Plumbing estimated and I was totally happy with how they did the work. They did the work fast, and they did the work well. I am very satisfied with them. more

Competitive Plumbing is really great. Ken comes out right away, does a good job, and cleans up after himself. He's very conscientious and careful. He explains everything to you so you can understand it instead of making you feel unintelligent. You don't need to be a contractor to know what he's talking about. And if he quotes you, his quote is your price unless there's a some huge unforeseen circumstance. I recommend them to everyone. I've used Ken for quite a while now, because I manage a lot of condos and homeowners associations. He always goes out of his way to help us, and I think they're great and have good ethics. I have already recommended Competitive Plumbing to others. They are just excellent. They were on time, cleaned up after themselves, and they kept me informed. I could have had a major disaster from my plumbing line that runs from the house to the street. They came in and fixed it, and saved me a lot of money. I have used them many times and it has always been so pleasant. more

Great Service! 12/29/2011

This is the second time in 5 months that I've hired Ken to fix a plumbing problem. He's there in a hurry, and does excellent work. (And he's available on weekends.) I've used other plumbers in the past, but have never called any of them back. If you live in the SLO area & have plumbing issues, Ken is the guy to call! more

Efficient - good rates 12/28/2011

Had Competitive Plumber do a job during the holiday rush...they didn't even hesitate to come right over. Worked very hard at getting the job done in a timely manner so that my guest would not be without water. more

I am also a plumber. The owner of Competitive Plumbing and I go to the same church. Competitive Plumbing is honest and I have no problem with them. Competitive Plumbing listened to my ideas and followed through. We did have corrections, but it worked out for the best. They do good work. more

I recently used Competitive Plumbing for the first time. They left a card by my mailbox, so I had their information when I happened to need help with the faucet in my kitchen. I haven't had a lot of plumbing trouble in the past, so I didn't have a regular plumber. That said, after my experience with Competitive, I would use them again. They were very nice, clean in fast. I like the new faucet they put in, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. more

I recently used Competitive Plumbing for the first time, after hearing good things about them. They were exceptionally good at explaining exactly what they were doing, and how they would go about it. If they were cutting into the wall, they made sure I understood why they were doing so. They were also good at answering all my questions in detail. They were very courteous and easy to talk to. All contracting experiences are not necessarily pleasant, but working with Competitive Plumbing was. They redid all my water lines and installed copper pipping, and did a great job. They got to me quickly, and were done in a timely manner. When I called back on something I wanted fixed, they came immediately. I would certainly use them again. more

Quick, nice, smart, quality 8/9/2011

The perfect plumber. You will not regret getting the job done right for a fair price. You will know you got quality service, and didn't have to empty your savings account to do it. I called a number of plumbers at 8:00 in the morning and most of them did not even answer the phone. This plumber answered the phone fast, got here quickly, fixed the problem without any issues, and kept to the price point we discussed. Two thumbs up! more

I had Ken do some pipe clean-out on a rental and when it came time to purchase, I asked him for an inspection of the new home. He gave me a very detailed perspective and insight and when I did make the purchase, he was the first service I contacted to do the work required. He was very thorough - I am confident the job was done right, and at a cost I feel was fair and very "competitive". more

Very good. 7/21/2011

Competitive Plumbing did fine. I had a low flow toilet that was not flushing and we were having trouble with it. The plumber came in, checked it out and stuff, and found that it was leaking in the back. By the time he fixed it all, a new one would be just as cheap, so I had him take out the old one and put a new one in. I'm going to have him come back and fix the faucet on the bathtub later on, when I have more dinero. more

Steve from Competitive Plumbing did some work on the house today. This was my first time using him. He has 15 years of experience according to his information, and he was great! I called him, he cam within and hour's time, and he gave me a quoted. He did the work, and it was done in a very timely manner, finishing by 1:00 PM. Competitive Plumbing were very pleasant to work with. They had left an advertisement on my front door, and I liked their approach. I called, and the serviceman was out promptly the next morning. He was done very quickly, and did a good job. Everything has continued to work properly since his visit. I have recommended Competitive Plumbing to many of my neighbors. They are located here in the community, which I was happy to discover. I will absolutely use them again. more
