Friendly and NOT racist! 10/8/2010

I noticed someone had written a review of how this church isn't friendly to Black Folks, and I have to say that my experience has been the opposite. If they are so prejudice, then why do they have some black members? Why were they so nice and friendly to me? I had to write this review because I think the other review was more of an unfair slam than a real review. Just wanted to say my piece. I am trying out a few more churches, but I like this one the best so far. more

Compass Christian Church is Honestly Welcoming With Love 11/18/2009

I have recently moved to the area and looking for a church for my family. I visited a few and they were nice and the people were nice. But--when I visited Compass Christian Church I knew that was the church for me. They were loving, friendly and helpful. They had all of the requirements that I was looking for in my church. Bible teaching, great kids dept, community involvment, praise and worship and young adult groups as well as groups for my husband and I. They truly made me feel welcome as a guest my 1st, 2nd and 3rd. time visiting. Can't wait to go back. more

Not a friendlier church around 8/3/2006

We visited here for a few months and ended up changing, only because we are Baptist and my husband could not roll with the Christian church habit of weekly communion. My heart and soul loves this church though. They are so nice and welcoming and have such a kids ministry. Their VBS programs are so great, I take my kids each year and they remind ME about it. They are constantly growing and changing for the better. They have a great Hispanic ministry that reaches out to a greatly underserved community in our area. more
