I have been using Dr. Harmon since I moved to Florida in 1999. She is so loving with our buddies, thorough when explaining if something is wrong and goes that extra mile to make sure our buddies stay well. She and her husband are a great team. I highly recommend them when caring for your buddies. more

I have 2 dogs that have been seen by this vet for several years. Although they seemed expensive I trusted her to take care of my animals. One of them needed dental work and I was given an estimate by the dr. It was a high-low estimate of anywhere between 1200 to 1700 to perform the work. Ouch, but she really needed it and so I agreed to have it done. I am at work on the day of the surgery and I get a call from the vet's office that my dogs mouth is much worse than they thought. With my dog under anesthesia they now tell me that it will be 3800. WHAT?? What was the high-low estimate for? After negotiating down to 2800, I had to let them complete the work or subject my dog to yet another dr's care and another oral procedure. My dog is old and traumatized by these procedures. I worked in a retail store at that time and coincidentally, in walks a vet tech from a different, very well known animal hospital in Boca. I have been bringing my cat to Companion Animal Hospital since 2006 and I continue to bring her here because of the excellent care they provide. Both Dr. O and Dr. Harman are very knowledgeable, compassionate and patient. They always return my calls promptly and are willing to take as much time as needed to answer questions and offer a thorough explanation of the diagnosis, treatment, meds, etc. They go the ""extra mile."" They also stay on top of the latest research, and that's something that is important to me as a pet owner. The staff is very pleasant as well. Highly recommend! more
