Como Deli

I have enjoyed many meals at the Como Deli without complaint (okay, they put bacon on omelettes as a garnish which this vegetarian doesn't like). Two weeks ago I went there and sat at the counter due to a long wait time for a table. I was appalled to see ALL the individuals preparing the food (both uncooked and ready to eat) without gloves. My uncle who is a regular there said the "owner" was back there too. He had no gloves and no hair restraint. It was yucky to see men rubbing their heads and then touching your food. I tried not to watch as it came close to my meal's prep time! more

Como Deli is an interesting place in Niagara Falls. It is located on Pine Avenue and is "attached" to The Como Restaurant. Some may say it's one in the same but it's not. Como Deli is unique because you can walk in and get homemade Italian cuisine to go or to eat in their small intimate area. You walk up and it's "deli style". Macaroni, sauce, meatballs, sausage, soups, chicken, veggies, pizza, and more. They also have a salad bar where they will prepare a salad to your liking! Don't forget about Como's famous pizza bread. Nothing like it. It's fabulous!! Como Deli is a favorite place for co-workers and I to grab lunch and head back to work!! Yummy! more

Niagara Falls is known for it's Italian cuisine and The Como Restaurant is a long standing family tradition with food that is out of this world. The restaurant is located on Pine Avenue in the heart of Little Italy. Parking is ample as they have a large lot and there is also parking on the street as well. The restaurant is a traditional, upscale Italian restaurant in decor and service. The wait staff is efficient and friendly. The family owners have been known to walk the dining room and make sure everyone is happy. What can I say about the food? It's amazing. The sauce is wonderful. I have never been disappointed with a meal at the Como. I have also been to the Como for a number of banquet type events and have always been pleased with the service and food in this setting as well. They have a number of separate "rooms" for parties of all sizes. I've been to breavement luncheons, annual teacher union dinners, business association events, and have always enjoyed my time at The Como! more
