Dr. Arthur R. Hulshizer - Owner and Lead Veterinarian has worked at several private veterinary hospitals in the area over the years including a local emergency hospital before starting his own practice. Dr. Hulshizer has over 15 years experience in private practice as a veterinarian and 2 1/2 years as an emergency veterinarian.
Our mission is to provide affordable health care for your pet based upon both your needs.
You, the client, are a part of the decision making process concerning treatment of your pet. With the veterinarian's help and guidance, individual treatment is created and tailored with your pet's needs in mind.

Community Veterinary Practice offers basic services to the consumer including, but not limited to:
* Routine spays and neuters for both small and exotic animals
* Soft tissue surgery
* Common orthopedic procedures
* Routine dental procedures
* In house X-ray services
* In house blood, urine and fecal analysis
* Access to outside laboratory
* Medical grooming
* Medical boarding
* Routine annual exams and vaccination
Services not provided by the hospital can be arranged through a network of referral hospitals both locally and regionally.
