Community Thrift Store

I've been going to this thrift store since high school and always enjoyed going you gotta dig a little to find what you like, and the sales have always been decent. I have even gone there to get gifts for my baby shower and some things for myself and baby. I can understand them being weary of people stealing because of the area they are in, and I don't think destroying your stuff that you donate is going to help anyone especially when those in need shop there (me being one of them). All in all I really like the place and have never had a problem with the staff. more

I live across the street from the thrift store and I see a couple of the women walking down 142nd street going to work and when they are passing each other what they are smoking and coffing there head off - they are getting paid too much. I went in there and looked at a weight bench, they want 75 dollars for it / ripped seat and rust on it -- went to Walmart and they had the same bench for 69 dollars The only thrift store that is worth a S__T is Goodwill Salvation Army does alot of good for women and kids but they want to much money for the garbage they sale -- I will make sure if I have to get rid of something such as their items I will break it or burn it so these thrift stores can't make any money off me more

I have never come across in my entire life cashiers who are very rude. Just because one opens one purse to cleanse his/her hands with sanitizers (considering the germs that one would be getting touching their used stuff, they think one is stealing their old clothes. These guys never realize who are paying their wages. One of their cashiers, I think, drinks. One may be able to tell through her manners of speech and actions. This store is okay before this black supervisor of cashiers came over. The most unfriendly people in customer service. Pros: Nastiest Cashiers in Town Cons: Very smelly bathrooms more
