E-bayers suck up all the nice stuff, sometimes filling up 2 carts. Did informal survey last year. Same 4 people there every single day. One lady even brings her lunch, eats it outside, smokes her cigarette & then goes back in. No bargains any more as the owner has seen the golden goose & raised prices to outrageous levels on items that are perceived to be valuable. Definitely no longer a ""thrift"" store. Most clientele speak Spanish as do all employees (suspect some illegals in there) & there are way too many non-english speaking shoppers with way too many kids, seemingly without parents. Used to go weekly; now maybe once/quarter or less. They also seem to want to appear to be a charitable organization with their Vietnam Vet collection truck in the parking lot. However, they charge CA sales tax so they're totally for profit. Also, cash only makes me wonder how much of that several million $ income is reported & taxes paid.
