Community Thrift Store

I have been to this thrift store on a few occations. As stated in the other reviews the sale prices do change daily with the color coded tags on the items. I have found new items cheaper at target or kohls (on clearence). However, most of the items are newish enough looking that no one would suspect you purchased from a thrift store. Over all I have been able to find at least 15 items that i have been happy with having gone in at least 4-5 times. One of my best purchases was a gap tee shirt for my daughter. She wore it today (st patricks day). it was green and had a very small crown in the center of the chest area. It was sooooooooo cute and I only paid a dollar for it. It probably retails for around 20.00 or so. I do wish it took credit/debit cards but that is a small inconvience. Over all I would shop there again. more

The best thrift in the area if you're looking for casual wear! Their jeans are all in greeat condition, no sifting through a dozen pairs of worn out old acid-wash to get to one pair of decent jeans, they're all decent ones. The whole store is well-kept, great selection of stuff in very good condition for being used, most things don't look pre-owned so no one will know unless you tell them. Not much vintage, but there's not much junk either, they only put out the good useable stuff it seems. more

I don't really like the Community Thrift Store- I always feel very crowded, none of the sizes are together, the people who work there aren't very nice, and the prices fluctuate depending upon the sale of the day (different color sale stickers are on sale on different days). The reason I go back again and again is because I can be looking for almost anything and find it there. It is especially good for costumes for my children and myself. My daughter needed a square dancing dress- got it! I needed some purple and yellow clothes for a themed party- got them! 70's clothes- oh, yeah, got those too! I put up with all of the downsides because I almost always can find exactly what I need! more
