Four County Mental Health Center, located in Independence, Kan., is a private, nonprofit organization providing mental health services to the residents of Chautauqua, Elk, Montgomery and Wilson counties in Kansas. Founded in 1964, it is a licensed community mental health center, serving people suffering form mental health disorders due to parenting, marriage, depression, anxiety, personal loss and work-related stress.
