It's not without bias that i write this review as I teach full-time at the Community College of Rhode Island. However, as anyone who has attended classes there will tell you, it's so much more than you would expect. The most affordable college in teh state also boasts small class sizes (isn't it better to be in a general psych class of 30 students rather than a lecture hall of 400 students at Big U in the southern end of the state?) and instructors who are there first to teach, not do research or publish (although some do this as well but teaching comes first). With more than 80 programs of study and classes days, evenings, weekends and at four campuses across the state, CCRI is the affordable, smart way to get a college education.
