Comics 2/27/2007

This is the best place to go in the area for old comics. While there are very few (if an) new comics, there are tons of back issues from the 1980's and early 90's. The prices are fair and the owner is always happy to help you if you are looking for something in particular. Because it is just the one person, the hours are very short (11:30am - 7pm on weekdays and 11:30am - 6:30pm on saturday if the hours haven't been changed), but it's always nice to stop in right before eating at one of the many nearby resturaunts. more

This shop is located in beautiful Del Ray. The storeowner is a riot. He is so friendly and so is his establishment. This place is filled with great new and old comics and other items. I love going in this shop since it always puts me in a great mood. I love places with character and this one as so much of it. more

Jam-packed comic book/plant store! 8/6/2005

The Comic and Card Collectorama has been in business in Del Ray for over 25 years – likely because the owner is so, so helpful! In addition to classic comic books, collector cards and autographed photos, this jam-packed shop also features exotic plants (including Venus fly Traps) and novelty joke items. A fun shop – so packed that it’s a little tough to navigate – but the staff can help you find just about everything! more
