We couldn't be more disappointed in the service we received through Comfort Solutions. We are forced to use them because of our warranty company. For starters, they take messages and promise to return the calls and they never call back. We waited for months on an AC unit and kept calling every couple of weeks to check on it. Meanwhile we're unable to rent our property during warm weather because the AC is out. A couple of months in, we called and the lady said it wasn't there but she would check on it. Surprise! It was there and she had no clue how long it had been there and why it hadn't been installed.
They were to replace the AC and we paid for a service call and never heard back. We called AGAIN and were told "our heater is working just fine and the case was closed." Heater?? We needed an entire AC unit to be replaced. Our heater was fine.
We thought their communication was just a hot mess, but I received a call from our renters saying the once sealed and sanitized toilet seat was up and there was urine on the floor, around the toilet, and it hadn't been flushed. (She sent me a picture for proof) She asked if someone had stayed in the unit. We checked our lock security system and only workers from Comfort Solutions had been there. They just actually used the bathroom and left it that way for our paying guests to come in and fine! Zero respect for our property. There was also a mess left all over the floor below the unit. We have a vacuum and broom available for them to use. We had to cancel our guests stay after a long drive from Chicago, refunded their money, paid Airbnb a $100 cancellation fee, and helped them check into a hotel down the road during busy peak Spring Break season.
My husband has called for the last 2 days to speak with someone about the issue and we still haven't received a phone call back.
We'll go back to using our regular AC guy. He's incredible and we would rather pay to use him than deal with these people for free through our warranty.
