We had a couple of issues with our heat pump. First the motor and the starting capacitor needed to be replaced because the unit was running constantly when it got cold out. Second, it couldn't completely heat the house once Courtney got the condenser working after repairing those two items, so he diagnosed the thermostat was incorrect for the system and not turning on the heat strips, which is why it couldn't produce enough heat to get the house above 72 degrees. He promptly replaced the thermostat and now everything works great on our old heat pump. The prices are a little high for the company, but repairing old heat pumps appears to be that way.
