We do not spend a great deal of time in hotels and motels as we travel in our RV primarily. So when we do stay at hotels we look for cleanliness, comfortable beds, reasonable prices, and made to feel welcome. We were met by the new manager, Ana Berrun. Ana was very personable and checked us in quickly and professionally. The room was just being finished as we arrived early in the day. The housekeeper, Lorriane, introduced herself, welcomed us to Comfort Inns and let us know that if we needed anything to just ask her. The room was wonderful. Very spacious, a perfect mattress, comfortable recliner, and work desk. Internet functioned perfectly. We have never found a room this clean! Nothing was other than perfect. The previous night we stayed in what that hotel called a ""suite"" and cost $107 for the night. Our room at the Comfort Inn was a bit larger, newer, and cleaner. The rate was $71. Now THAT'S a reasonable rate. (I feel that hotel rates have gone totally out of line.) The ""continental"" breakfast included waffles, pastries, cereal selections, biscuits and gravy and the usual beverages. The difference was that they had a lady dedicated to the area making sure everything stayed perfectly clean and continually restocked. That is paying attention to detail. My compliments to the new manager, Ana. This is THE place to stay in Las Cruces.
