Here you go right by the Harley store, high way, a few good restaurants, and not even a mile away from Old Mesilla! The staff are friendly and the rooms are fresh and clean!

we arrived here without a reservation because the hotel we were booked into could no longer accommodate us - however the desk clerk was excellent and soon sorted us out with a non-smoking king suite and the room rate was very reasonable. The room smelt fresh and clean and was well equipped with fridge, TV and microwave. The included breakfast was basic but fine, and the staff were very pleasant and obviously hard working. The Inn is ideally situated for downtowm Mesilla, historic town where Billy the Kid was sentenced. more

I was very impressed with this motel, extreemly clean and well laid out. The room was spacious and very neat and tidy, bed most comfortable. good breakfast. i used the pool, a little small but still nice, there is also a steam room and a tub. there are plenty of restuarants in the vicinity and the motel is just a short hop from the interstate. i looked elsewhere before booking here and considered myself lucky that other motels were fully booked, and not least more expensive. more

I have spent about 15 nights total in the Comfort Suites off University Ave and I-25. I moved there - from staying in other motels - due primarily to the location. I continue to book there for the following reasons,\r - clean and quiet rooms,\r - good desk space in a larger than average hotel room,\r - plesant staff,\r - rooms with safe, microwave, and small refrigerator,\r - comfortable beds,\r - good internet connections.\r \r I also appreciate that the location is adjacient to a walking/bike path which parallels the Interstate. The motel pool is a bit small for laps, but works to at least give me some swimming time. Included breakfast is reasonable but nothing fancy. It's fine if you can live with making yourself a waffle, or can get by with cereal, toast/bagel, fruit, and juice. Packaged hot cereals are also available. more

I have stayed at this place several times now and absolutely love it, Staff is very helpful, rooms are new and clean, Have had no issues with noise. I am a business traveler and have stayed at most of the other hotels in Cruces at this price range. When booked online in advance there is no better deal in town. more

They were very accomodating - I had been traveling with my kids - 5 of them and we arrived exhausted and wanting to relax and take a dip in the pool. The Staff allowed us a short time in the pool and hot tub even though they were closing up soon. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a laid back comfortable night's rest - The breakfast was GREAT too! more

New and fabulously clean! And pet friendly too. We were driving from CA to FL with our dog, and this was one of our best stops. The hotel is new and clean, and the staff could not be nicer. more

I am a business traveler and stay about 80 nights per year in hotels. I am a Gold Level with Hilton, Holiday Inn and Choice. I am VERY picky about the following items: CLEAN, QUIET AND COMFORTABLE. This location met and exceeded all of my expectations. I was the Keynote speaker for a conference at the University and closer hotels were recommended BUT it was WAC weekend and I cannot stand hotels where ANYONE is running down the halls making a hoopla. So I chose this location about 5 minutes away. From check in to check out it was great! Remember, this is a small inn and not a full service hotel. It has a decent breakfast, laundry facilities, computer access and a pool. The rooms are clean and quite new. The front desk was helpful and kind and IT WAS QUIET at night. I will stay here again and am happy to recommend it! I appreciated the willing spirit, in any assistance I needed! more

This is a real find near Mesilla, right off I-10. The hotel is relatively new--we asked for a quiet room and got a huge suite which had 3 sections, 2 TVs, a microwave and fridge. The hotel has an indoor pool, whirlpool and steam room and provided a nice continental breakfast. There is also a computer in the lobby for using the internet. We cannot say enough good things about this place.. One warning--there is a popular bar/restaurant behind and to the left of the hotel--you should avoid staying close to that if possible. more

We have relatives in Las Cruces and visit often. We have stayed at several hotels in the city but this one is consistant and the staff is great. We have stayed several times and I don't think we can honestly complain about anything because everything has been in superb shape. Their location is ideal, it is the closest hotel to Mesilla, a historic district with lots of shops and a variety of excellent restaurants. The kids love the indoor pool and we love the hot tub and as an added bonus they have a steam room. his is the place to stay if you are passing through town or on an extended stay. We just love it. more

We do not spend a great deal of time in hotels and motels as we travel in our RV primarily. So when we do stay at hotels we look for cleanliness, comfortable beds, reasonable prices, and made to feel welcome. We were met by the new manager, Ana Berrun. Ana was very personable and checked us in quickly and professionally. The room was just being finished as we arrived early in the day. The housekeeper, Lorriane, introduced herself, welcomed us to Comfort Inns and let us know that if we needed anything to just ask her. The room was wonderful. Very spacious, a perfect mattress, comfortable recliner, and work desk. Internet functioned perfectly. We have never found a room this clean! Nothing was other than perfect. The previous night we stayed in what that hotel called a ""suite"" and cost $107 for the night. Our room at the Comfort Inn was a bit larger, newer, and cleaner. The rate was $71. Now THAT'S a reasonable rate. (I feel that hotel rates have gone totally out of line.) The ""continental"" breakfast included waffles, pastries, cereal selections, biscuits and gravy and the usual beverages. The difference was that they had a lady dedicated to the area making sure everything stayed perfectly clean and continually restocked. That is paying attention to detail. My compliments to the new manager, Ana. This is THE place to stay in Las Cruces. more

Upon arrival, my room was upgraded due to overbooking. The room was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities. As a stop over stay, it was located so as to make returning to the highway easy. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 7/16/2013

The Inn is located near the highway exit, that's why we arrived there: the rate was very affordable, so we decided to stay for the night.\r The room was great, with two beds, extremely clean and comfortable, with coffee maker, fridge, microwave, a huge and immaculate bathroom. There was a standard breakfast included.\r More, the girl at reception has been really nice, and she gave us a good advice for eating in the nearby. Great value for the price. I would absolutely recommend to anyone. more

Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and modern although the extra chair and desk chair type make it a bit crowded. Easy on/off I10 without the noise and a couple of minutes to Mesilla. Nice breakfast included sausage, eggs, waffles, etc. Good indoor pool and workout room. Pet friendly. Don't confuse this (Comfort Inn & Suites on La Mesilla) with the Comfort Inn on Valley Road. more

This was our second time in Las Cruces and second time at this hotel. Next time, we'll stay here again. Good value, clean & comfortable rooms, friendly staff are what we seek, and this Comfort Inn delivers. There was a hot water problem and the desk clerk allowed my wife to shower in another room while I suffered under a stream of cold water. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 6/25/2013

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights & did not experience any of the problems mentioned by others. Our room was clean with a nice flat screen tv and a great bed & pillows. The staff was helpful & there were fresh baked cookies on the counter at check-in. The breakfast was OK - nothing special but included precooked sausages eggs & potatoes. I would definitely stay again. Good location near old Mesilla. more

Great home away from home. I have stayed at quite a few hotels. Many, even expensive ones I have found to be both poor in service an cleanliness. I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. I am staying here for two weeks while teaching a class at NMSU. This place is great for a mid level hotel. I find all hotels to be very similar, what makes the difference for me is the friendliness of the staff, convenience, and cleanliness. So, while the building is not 5 star worthy, these other factors made it a 5 star stay for me. Especially the staff. Super nice. friendly and helpful young ladies. The free breakfast is totally doable, eggs sausage etc. I have to believe its as good as free breakfast gets. Free no-hassle internet or password etc. No credit card required for check-in if your room has already been paid for. One exit, north on I25 about3 min, away is walmart, target, grocery store, applebees, chilis, etc. No pretence. I love this type of hotel. more

Got in after 9pm and left around 8am..... Did not spend a lot of time. The room was good and clean. the hall ways smelled like smoke but when we entered our room it was nice and smoke free. I would recommend this place and I would stay here again. Happy travels :) more

Stayed here recently when I was in town for a funeral and was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the room. I stayed in the main building and the public areas I was in were clean and looked newly updated. My room was immaculate and the shower/tub looked brand-new. My room had in-room coffee and a refrigerator, add-ons I always like to have. The room was quiet at night and I did not notice a lot of hallway noise. The room is not luxurious but I did not expect that. The beds were comfortable, there were lots of pillows, and all in all, it was a very nice place to spend a couple of nights. The free breakfast in the morning was very comprehensive and the waffle maker actually worked, which I have not seen very often in hotels with waffle makers. I did not experience any of the negative things mentioned in other reviews - which I am not saying did not happen to them, just that I didn't have any problems at all with this facility.\r Best of all, when I needed to extend my stay another night unexpectedly, the night front-desk person was very efficient and helpful and was able to extend my stay so I was able to stay in the same room, and not move. He was very polite and helpful.\r This hotel is VERY convenient to the freeway and to Old Mesilla. There are restaurants very close to the hotel, including one across the street (which I did not try). The Las Cruces downtown area is just minutes away. I recommend this hotel to travelers in Las Cruces. more

Well worth the stop. Night one of extended road trip and we were greeted with a smiling face, clean and quiet room. Great water pressure in shower, room was very clean, large tv and coffee in lobby was hot and fresh at 7 p.m. Spending approx 200 nights a year in hotels I found this on well worth the time to write a review. more
