I can't get a hot dog an beer 9/22/2003

Food service is the worst in the country. I got up to get a 2 hot dogs and a beerin the 5th inning. It was the 8th by the time I got back to my seat. You have to goto one line for a hot dog another for beer and a another for water. Each line was 10 minutes long. It is the worst thing I've ever seen. I will never go again. Other than that the place is great. Pros: Clean, New Cons: Long lines, Slow Lines more

Location, location, location. 8/30/2002

Okay, the place was alot funkier when it was on Woodward. But instead of tearing it down to make way for Comerica Park(ing), they jacked the thing up and rolled it a block and a half east where it's now nestled comfortably between the ball park and the shiny new home of the Lions, Ford Field. So instead of boozy hipsters in leather, it now attracts boozy sports fans in khakis. The food is standard bar grub, but the service (even on the busiest ball game days) is always remarkable. Fast and friendly. Check it out in the midst of a Tigers (or Lions) blowout. Pros: Service Cons: Sterile more

Everyone Enjoys Themselves 8/20/2002

Everyone I have taken to this park has left happy regardless of how good or horrible the Tigers played. There are so many interesting places to watch the game and the attention to detail (outfield statues, custom tile work, etc) always provides something to hold your interest. Lastly the beautiful view of the Detroit skyline gives vistors a postive lasting impression of the city. more

Baseball at it's best 8/11/2002

What a great place to see the Tiger's play ball. This is really a super stadium to see a game in. There are no bad seats. Pros: modern, very updated, good for kids Cons: needs more parking, expensive food more

Tiger Stadium----NOT! 7/22/2002

Why the Tiger quit on Tiger Stadium I'll never understand. It's no wonder they don't draw flies here. With long time broadcaster Ernie Harwell retireing at the end of this year I sugest you stay home and listen to the game on radio. Cons: waste of tax dollers, money not forewared e, not what the fans wan more

One of the nicer ""new"" ballparks 5/19/2002

I've been to most of the ""new"" retro parks and have to say Comerica is one of the best. A little overdone on the Tiger statuary everywhere, but really well designed. Like the concourses with historical references to Tiger history. I imagine some people dislike the ferris wheel et al for kids, but I thought it was a nice touch and well done. Also, appreciate they located it downtown rather than some out of the way burb. Pros: design, location more
