After pulling a trailer with my 2001 Ford Escape through the mountains and in a blizzard my vehicle started experiencing transmission problems. Being from out of town, I was referred to Columbus Transmission by a local mechanic. I called and immediately on the first phone call with Todd was treated very well and with concern. He told me to get my vehicle in before 9am and they would diagnos the problem and let me know before noon. I did and it was well before noon when he notified me with the problem. I was going to have to have another transmission and he gave me my options and assisted me in helping make my decision. Long story short, i opted for the new transmission and this was on Thursday afternoon. On Friday afternoon i received a call from Todd telling me my vehicle was ready. They knew i was from out of town and thought i may need my vehicle as soon as possible. I received an excellent warranty 100k/3year nationwide and the price was well below a dealer's price. I figured being from out of town, i would pay the price, but with Columbus Transmission that was not the case. I was very pleased with the price and more so with the service both mechanical and customer. I would highly recommend this business to anyone, especially all the people in the Columbus area.
