After having several horrific experiences with vets who mis-diagnosed my cat, charged me thousands in unnecessary tests, sent me into a tail-spin with off the cuff and grave diagnostics (one told me he felt a ""mass"" in her stomach!), at the urging of my dear friend (who also rescues animals), I decided to go to Dr. Walsh. After explaining the symptoms in detail, she immediately tested my poor cat for thyroid disease - and sure enough - that's what it is! She's getting the proper medicine now, and feeling 100% better than she has in a year. Dr. Walsh is nothing short of a brilliant diagnostician, and I believe part 'magician' :). Dr Walsh is a caring and first rate vet. She took really good care of my dog and has been great with most of my friend's pets as well. Her staff is also awesome and are great at all the small details that get lost at other places. Dr. Walsh is great about keeping in touch and returning phone calls.
